David Lawrence

David has been employed with one of the world’s largest technology companies for the past 18 years and has held numerous positions of leadership in the organization. Relying on his experience and knowledge of the Retail industry, he currently works as an Operations Consultant in their consumer organization. David and his wife of 27 years, Angie, along with their three children, Lexie, Logan and Asher, moved to the Pepperell community in January 2013 and currently reside in the Silver Creek community. Lexie graduated from PHS with honors in 2018 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University. Logan was a three-year letterman for PHS Baseball as well as a member of the PHS Basketball team where he graduated with honors in 2022, and is currently a sophomore at Kennesaw State University. Asher is currently in the 2030 graduating class at Pepperell Middle School where he takes honors classes and also participates in football, basketball and baseball. David’s athletic experience includes being a four-year letterman as an offensive lineman in football, playing at Alabama 5A high schools, Walter Wellborn and Sylacauga. David attended Auburn University and later earned his degree in Retail Sales Management from Bellevue University. After school, David has followed a passion to give back to the sports that gave him so much. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys Club of Sylacauga and as a community coach in some capacity for over 15 years in football, baseball and basketball. David is currently the Director of Middle School Baseball for the Pepperell Baseball Program, Head coach of the 6th Grade Prep Team, Head Coach and Director for the Stax Travel Baseball organization, and co-owner of “The Barn - Athletic Training Facility.” David says his greatest passion is helping the young men and women in the community reach their fullest potential through their involvement in sports.
